چکیده
To promote carbon emission reduction and resource reuse, this study is devoted to studying the impact of government subsidy policies on operation decision a low-carbon closed-loop supply chain system. In production stage, governments can use subsidies remanufacturing reduce green behavior costs manufacturers; in recycling consumer increase willingness consumers. study, we introduce these three into target function subsidized members. Using Nash non-cooperative game variational inequality, developed network equilibrium model examine system decision. The results show that, under policies, raising level help improve rate, emissions profits retailers; however, manufacturers’ incomes only when below certain threshold. Notably, coexistence policy has more significant Finally, numerical higher than six, although leads decrease manufacturers, best contribution environmental benefits Our serve as guidelines for designing optimal programs achieve ultimate goal establishing an environmentally friendly

Government Subsidy for Remanufacturing or Carbon Tax Rebate: Which Is Better for Firms and a Low-Carbon Economy
The government as a policy maker wishing to promote remanufacturing and proper disposal of hazardous old products which are harmful to environment has taken many actions, ranging from carbon regulation and financial incentives such as trade-in subsidy. However, carbon tax can result in loss of profit for firms to some degree, so the government has to give other subsidy to balance the profits an...
متن کاملCooperation or Competition? Channel Choice for a Remanufacturing Fashion Supply Chain with Government Subsidy
In this paper, we address the problem of choosing an appropriate channel for the marketing channel structure of remanufactured fashion products. To be specific, we consider a remanufacturer who has two options for selling the products: (1) provide the remanufactured products to a manufacturer, then the manufacturer sells both new products and the remanufactured products to customers, and (2) se...
متن کاملOptimization Driven Approaches for Subsidy Allocation and Supply Chain Procurement
This thesis introduces several new models in operations management, that are motivated by practical settings. It studies these models in an optimization-driven approach, employing mathematical programming techniques to derive important structural and algorithmic insights on the corresponding problems. In the first part of the thesis, we study subsidy allocation problems under budget constraints...
متن کاملA Mixed Integer Linear Programming Model for the Design of Remanufacturing Closed–loop Supply Chain Network
Closed-loop supply chain network design is a critical issue due to its impact on both economic and environmental performances of the supply chain. In this paper, we address the problem of designing a multi-echelon, multi-product and capacitated closed-loop supply chain network. First, a mixed-integer linear programming formulation is developed to maximize the total profit. The main contribution...
متن کاملAttracting private investment: Tax reduction, investment subsidy, or both?
a r t i c l e i n f o This paper uses a real-option model to examine the net benefit to a government from using tax cut and/or investment subsidy as incentives to induce immediate investment. Although earlier papers generally concluded that investment subsidy dominates tax cut, it is observed that many governments use a combination of subsidy and tax cut. We show that, when the government uses ...
